Olentangy Orange appears to have punched their ticket to the playoffs with a 17-0 home victory over Westerville South on Senior Night. Weather played a huge role in the outcome of this game as it rained nonstop for the entire game, severely limiting both offenses. AIden Hill started he scoring for Orange, connecting on a 27 yard field goal early in the second quarter. Robbie Dayhuff ran for a one yard touchdown to make the score 10-0 at the half. Offense was limited in the 2nd half until Jake Vanchieri got loose for a 31 yard touchdown run late in the 4rth to seal the victory for Orange. Orange out gained South 232 yards to 159 on a night that was tough sledding due to the conditions. Ta’ve Falls rushed for 54 yards and Peter Pedrozo threw for 40 yards to lead South.
Orange closed out their season with a 7-3 record and a likely playoff berth. South ended their season at 3-7 with several close losses.
