Visiting Westerville South won at Upper Arlington 28-21 on Homecoming. The game featured a 90 minute weather delay just after kickoff. South won with a balanced effort on both side of the ball, holding off a late charge from the Bears. Upper Arlington got off to a fast start, scoring on their first possession on a 39 yard touchdown run from Christopher Schweisthal. South took the lead at the end of the first quarter, scoring on a 6 yard catch by Jesse Devore and a one yard run from Michael Mansaray…his area leading 16th of the season. South held a 28-14 lead entering the fourth quarter. With 10 minutes to go the game tightened when Carson Greysock scored on a 39 yard touchdown run following a fumble from South. The Bears had a chance to tie the game in the game in the final seconds but their drive ended with an interception. The Bears outgained South on the night 364 yards to 346. Peter Pedrozzo paced South’s scoring, throwing for 189 yards and three scores. Michael Mansaray rushed for 128 yards and a score. The Bears rushed for 347 total yards, 136 from Schweisthal and 131 from Carson Greysock.
