Westerville South fell at home to Olentangy 67-52. With the loss, South’s record fell to 6-6 on the year. The game was close throughout, with neither team able to open up a substantial lead until Olentangy put the game away in the 4th quarter behind solid free throw shooting. Olentangy took a slim one point at the half and was able to hold off rallies by South behind a game high 22 points from Sean Marks. Other key contributers for the Braves were Alex Sieve with 12 points and Austin Brown and Caleb Steele each with 9 points. Jordan McMillian led South with 17 points, all coming in the second half. Ryan Greggs and Jacob Singleton also posted double figure scoring nights for South with 11 and 10 points respectively. South was without big man Manny Sunnyway, who suffered a shoulder injury in their last game. Up next for South is a home game against Reynoldsburg on Tuesday, 1/22.
