Westerville South picked up a big conference road win over rival Westerville North, 68-58. With the win, South is now 3-0 against Westerville teams and has won the “battle of the Ville”. South was in control the entire night, never trailing. South jumped out to a four point lead after the first quarter behind hot three point shooting from Jaden Guice and Peter Pedrozo. South would extend the lead to 9 entering the half. North was more competitive in the 2nd half behind a strong game from Senior Charles Perkins but was not able to cut into South’s lead. Every game a different Wildcat steps up, and tonight it was Junior Peter Pedrozo, who led South with 24 points. As usual, South had balanced scoring with Junior Tabari Howard scoring 16 points and Keyton Kowalski providing a spark off the bench with 11 big points. South improved to 14-6 overall after their fourth straight win and now sits at 7-2 in OCC Buckeye play…remaining tied for the conference lead. Up next for South is a home matchup with Johnstown-Monroe on Tuesday.
