Westerville South triumphed over rival Westerville Central at home 69-45. South started fast and never looked back, never trailing in the game. South built a big early lead in the first quarter and extended the lead to 21 points at the half. Ryan Greggs scored 19 first half points to bolster South. Central made their run in the 3rd quarter, carving a 21 point lead down to 10 mid way through the 3rd quarter but that was a close as they would get. Behind solid free throw shooting, South extended built their lead to the final margin of the 24 point victory. Jordan McMillian led South with 26 points, 19 coming in the second half. Ryan Greggs finished with 22 points. Tyler Combest led Central with 12 ponts and Simon Bousher-Helbig and Tyler Bechel each finished with 9. Up next for South is a big road test at power Cleveland St Ignatius at 7:00 PM Saturday.
