Westerville South rebounded from back to back losses with a strong performance, defeating Licking Heights 78-53 at home. South took a 10 point lead into halftime behind strong shooting from Junior Jaiden Guice, who posted 11 points in the half. South never took their foot off the pedal in the second half, led again from the hot hand of Jaiden Guice who would go on to lead South in scoring for the game with 27 points. Sophomore Drey Carter added 15 points for South and Junior Tabari Howard posted 14. South improved their record to 11-6, 5-2 in OCC Buckeye conference play. South remains tied for the conference lead with Olentangy Liberty. Up next for South is the second battle this year of the coaching Calo’s when the Wildcats take on Olentangy Orange at home on Friday.
