Westerville South prevailed on the road at Jonathan Alder 64-59 in overtime. South started the game in sleep mode, scoring only 3 first quarter points and finding themselves down by 10 heading into the second quarter. Behind solid three point shooting from Tabari Howard, South righted the ship in the second quarter and took a one point lead into the half. South built the lead to six entering the final quarter when the Pioneers made their run, sending the game into overtime. South pulled away in OT after trailing by a bucket early. South evened it’s season record to 3-3 with the win while Alder fell to 2-1. Up next for South is a conference road game against Olentangy Orange this Friday.
